Founded in 1980 with the vision of “being a proactive establishment that is leader in the regional markets and effective in the global markets, conscious of its social responsibilities, compliant with the global competition, and targeting the unconditional customer satisfaction through innovative, creative and original product designs and services that are also in line with the global trends by developing its reliable and high-quality product structure supported continuously by technological investments”, VİKO produces solutions for transfer, usage and easier offer of the electrical energy today in its new industrial facilities in Samandıra-Istanbul, which is regarded as the largest one in Turkey in this sector for its 53,500 m2 outdoor and 42,500 m2 indoor areas.

VİKO that has become the leading organization in Turkey in its own field by producing switches, gang sockets, fuse boxes, and electric meters throughout 28 years since its foundation exports 50 percent of its production to 60 countries, thus representing our country in the world markets successfully.

With its production capacity of 80 million pieces of switches and sockets per year and with its 620 employees, VİKO has been continuing its investments for R&D, design and brand-building to launch many new products. VİKO that carries out numerous projects concurrently during the R&D works blends the customer expectations, application feedbacks on existing products with the data arising from market researches through these projects.

VİKO that has broadened its product gamut with new electronic products and systems in line with the global trend of shifting from mechanical to electronic products produces solutions above the expectations of its customers. VİKO that develops projects with the excitement of achieving always the first in the sector has many national and international awards, notably 2005 TÜSIAD KalDer National Quality Award, for its product quality and customer service understanding.

VİKO that started the Quality Management efforts in the year 1998 was certified by TSE and DQS firms in the same year, and completed its ISO 9001:2000 revision in the year 2002. VİKO that has started the Total Quality Management works in parallel to system certifying works has been improving its system continuously in accordance with the EFQM Excellence Model. In VİKO, a customer-oriented and process-based system is applied to ensure continuous improvement through understanding and evaluating the needs and expectations of the customers, including the potential ones, the state of competition in the market, market opportunities, and the competitive advantages in the future.
